Share Fairs 2008
This May Learning Leaders held its Annual Fair Share Fairs in four New York City public high schools. Volunteers from our corporate community spoke to more than 170 students about advanced education and vocational options, career paths, and day-to-day life in the working world. Read more about it.
Get Schooled in the Park with the NYC DOE
The Office for Family Engagement and Advocacy invites families of New York City Department of Education public school students to attend the 1st Annual Back to School Event. Who We Are
-Learning Leaders is a nonprofit that recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to provide sustained help in New York City public schools, mostly during the school day.
Who We Serve
-Every year, up to 14,000 Learning Leaders volunteers work with over a quarter of a million New York City public school students throughout the five boroughs.
How It Happens
-We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities across grade level, subject area, location, and time commitment.
